Tired of staring up at the night sky from the same lair every night, Celeste has decided to journey out into the world and discover constellations unknown to her clan. She will dearly miss her mother and father, and her clan leader, Shura. But she needs to spread her wings and find who she really is. Her dream is to someday return home with many a story to tell to family and friends whom she is leaving behind. But if she finds a mate out there in the big wide world who does not wish to travel with her, it may help her settle down. Although it is unlikely she could meet anyone with that much influence over her free spirit.

The southern constellations, then, were a delight to young Celeste; the wide tundra capped by a captivating mass of stars that shone in vibrant blues and purples. But one can only watch the moon rise and fall for so many nights, and soon she grew wary of the cold and decided that her time had come to find another clan.

Celeste drifted in on a sunny afternoon breeze and was welcomed by all. After being fed and introduced to the other nocturne's that live here she was happy to recount her tales of adventure to the other dragons. Leaving her three hatchlings in the care of their father Celeste decided it was time to move on.

Celeste stayed with the shadow clan for a long while, picking up several new hobbies, but began to grow sad as she missed the sun. A patrol escorted her to the edge of the Wood, bid her farewell, and left her to journey onwards.

Caught in a vicious storm, Celeste found herself very glad for her warm things. Although the clan in which she landed was friendly, she soon decided to leave; the eerie howling of the wind made sleep nearly impossible. She set out towards her home clan for a short while, deciding to take a rest.

Celeste struggled to find her way through the darkness of the Tangled Wood. Though this was where her breed originated from, she herself was unfamiliar with the darkness. As she fell for probably the 30th time, a mirror decorated with bird skulls and purple feathers approached her. "My dear, why don't you come with my. You can stay with my clan for a while, take a rest. You look exhausted from travel." Celeste nodded and followed the surprisingly kind mirror. When they arrived at the caves the clan called home, she was given a warm welcome, as well as the gift of a pearl ring.


140337, Atroxi (Home Lair)
She made her way back home again, only this time things weren't peaceful. The lair was divided, those who supported the only clan leader she had ever known, Shura, and those who rallied behind Eldingar, Naeteiri, and their twins. She didn't know that the crafty Coatl had been manipulating everyone in the clan, even controlling the minds of some of the weaker willed. Eluveitie noticed something was up and raised his children to never trust the pale one. One of his sons stayed here and grew up. He watched the Coatl, learned his ways, and found out who else mistrusted him. There weren't many in his rag tag group to begin with, but the more the reached out to others, it was like a spell had broken. Celeste took to Eldingar well, he was very gentle and kind. She like many others wanted him to be the new clan leader, but something was holding him back.

Now, a new threat has befallen the clan. Certain dragons every week are led away to another clan. They fight there, for their lives. Most come back broken. Haunted by the things they have seen, the things they have done. The most recent, Kukko, was stronger than any of the others that had been sacrificed. He told stories to all who would listen. Most wrote him off as a lunatic, but Celeste and the small family of rebels all listened. They all knew they had to try to put an end to this madness. Eldingar's fury grew, as did his resolve. Something had awoken in him, more now than before when it was just one Coatl using everyone around to get his way. This was harming his clan mates in many ways. Now, it was time to train.
