Biography

Helios of the Light


A young Skydancer hailing from the Sunbeam Ruins. He is a scholar for the clan who specializes in the history of the Lightweaver. Most of his days are spent among his books and scrolls, reading tales and histories forgotten by most. His greatest pride is his knowledge. He yearns to fill his mind with the past of others so as to forget his own.

The inscriptions etched upon his hide are symbols passed down through the generations, placed on their keeper during adolescence and their meanings taught through to adulthood. Only those who bear them understand that they are precious and carry the weight of many clans come before.

He secretly pines after his lost love with Sona, the Clans most beautiful Skydancer, whom he shares many children with. Once, they were happy, but as Sona grew older she grew further from him. As it is with Skydancers, they are fickle lovers and change their hearts often.

He worries of Sona's health as her once beautiful passion for flight has drifted into a dangerous obsession with the Arcane. After two of their children, Temper and Diligence chose to leave and serve the Ice Warden, though most believe this is the most precious position above all else, she is determined to bring them back...at any risk.
