Swift

Swift is a young Spiral that has a mysterious talent in the art of magic. From a young age, his mother could tell that he had something within him that was special, and thus instead of sending him out into the world like his brothers, he stayed with his Guild to nurture and grow his strange yet amazing gift.

After being put under training observation by Nesilia, it was discovered that Swift seemed to have a natural gift for healing magic, and had a basic grip on Light magic. No-one in the Guild could master healing magic, and the Guild agreed that allowing him to be trained by Nesilia herself would be a great benefit to both himself and his group. He was given a pair of antlers similar to the ones that Nesilia wears, to signify how he is her battle student.

While Swift's gifts in magic are beyond magnificent, he is very weak in terms of physical fighting, and he has a very shy and docile nature around new dragons or foes, which can often prove fatal for battle. Nesilia has been trying to teach him to be brave around foes and stranger dragons, but thus far her efforts do not seem to have had much effect. Swift knows how important he will grow to be in his Guild, but the pressure from his training makes him feel as though he is a lost cause and a burden to his Guild.

At his young age, Swift was not expected to be interested in getting a mate, and true to this expectation he didn't find one for many years. He was too focused on his training to bother with looking for a dragon to raise a brood with, but after a while his mother expressed that maybe when he has mastered his training, he could find another healer mage to hopefully pass down his magical attributes to and continue his family line. One day Swift met Cranberry while out and about, and he became the father of 4 young hatchlings. Will they become accomplished healers such as himself? Only time will tell.

Although he is still young and has many insecurities about himself, Swift knows deep down that he is a talented dragon who is capable of becoming his Guild's first mage. While the pressure is strong and at times overwhelming, Swift knows that if you want something to become reality you must work for it. And if he wants to master and gain control of his magic abilities, he must be patient. After all, good things come to those who wait.
