"Darkness will rise to bring the light."

A flash of lightning, a storm, their beloved parents...and the memory fades. So little memory of the past and what happened before being found by Raiton. Starflight often dreams of their origins and what happened to make them an orphan all those years ago. Although, the feelings aren't strong. Starflight wonders, but is not drawn by the knowledge they seek. As they are now, they are already in a warm and loving home. Raiton was the best mother anyone could have asked for. Starflight remembers warmth and plenty to eat every day growing up. And as fate would have it, Starflight became the single more important member of the clan.

Even when they were small, Starflight remembers scenes playing before his eyes of the future, or signs in the clouds of what was to come. They often hid this power from Raiton...what would she think if her precious Charge started developing powers beyond their control? However, Raiton eventually found out and nurtured these powers, for she knew more than she was letting on. The powers could turn dark, and Starflight needed to master them.

Now that Raiton is growing old, Starflight takes control of the Clan as the leader and prophet. However, they cannot keep every bad thing from happening, even if they do see it and try to stop it. Sometimes the future is set in stone, and that claws against Starflight deeply. For he alone is in charge of the beautiful clan their mother made and must keep it safe from harm.
