Skyswirl was a dragon born and raised in the Ashfall Waste, happy and carefree. Her past affected her greatly, and led to her caring and tender nature. However, when she was still fairly young, her clan was attacked by a Beastclan horde. She barely made it out alive, having to fight her way through Centaurs. While she was fighting, she noticed two dragons not of her clan fighting for the dragons. Those two were Starlight and Limestone. The two dragons managed to save her, but not before she witnessed something devastating. Her parents, killed by the Beastclan horde. She's never fully recovered from that, yet she went along with Starlight and Limestone, joining the then small clan of dragons. There, she met Earlertren, who helped her greatly through the death of her parents. She managed to regain her happiness and optimism, but with a cost. Her innocence had disappeared, and with it came a violent side. Earlertren and Starlight had managed to help Skyswirl, by getting her to channel her violence and temper against enemies. It was after one such battle that Skyswirl had decided to go lava-diving, where she met her future mate, Burn. It puzzled her greatly what a Water Dragon was doing in the Ashfall Waste, much less diving in lava. She managed to bring him home with her, and they've been mates ever since.
