Biography

Sing's only fault was that he was never good enough. He was first of long streak of Loreheart's hatchlings that didn't inherit their father's gift, his magical talent was impressive, it just wasn't enough to beat Coil, who was seemingly capable of pulling fireballs out of his... scarf, finally, by the time he grew up young clan's hierarchy was already established. He is cunning dragon, always plotting and trying to be two steps ahead of... well, that's the problem. He treats them as enemies, but he really has none.
He won't admit it openly, but he's hopelessly enamoured with Dari.
Tries to remain in control over Octava, but with other large dragons around, it becomes increasingly harder. With appearance of another Guardian, Sing was forced to abandon his original plan.
Lately he found new, unexpected allies. Impulsive Amobella and scheming Falconidae created opposition to peaceful reign of Cameoleopardis.

His father's special skills were valuable to the lair, maybe that's why Sing had plenty of brothers and sisters, all of them, himself included, unfortunately devoid of Loreheart's unique memory. They said that for some time he was even paired with Mother herself and young tundra couldn't stop thinking that he could be now in place of that bumbling idiot Coil. Oh, of course, Hemi taught them all, but old male always had time for that waste of magic and Sing's thirst for knowledge often was left unanswered
- Is that Manaweed?
he blinked abruptly at flower being shoved into his maw
- Ah... yes, yes, of course. Very good.
- Sweet! You're the best, Sing. Let's find some more! young female darted forward, not even looking back at him.
Ah, yes, Dari. If Coil was useful for anything, it was that his egg soaked with all the wasted potential of his parents and all that was left for his sister was just pristine perfection. As firstborn son of Loreheart, Sing was let into ins and outs of their hoard, including dubious privilege of teaching others about gathering and scavenging. Thankfully elders decided that Dari, as leader's daughter, would benefit from private tutoring.

Sing ascended into the world outside of their caves and took short stroll to Octavia's nest. Large female was casually stretching on rocks, observing the area, but she darted back on her legs once she spotted him, assuming watchful stance
- Much too late for that. Do I need to remind you what...
- ...I owe to the lair. I'm aware. My wounds hurt if I don't stretch.
- Are you trying to make excuses? their steel gaze met halfway. She was first to avert her eyes never abandon your post again like that.
- I won't.
- Good. Please, understand me he changed his tone to sound like mentor tired of his student's stubbornness I'm just trying to help you. You need to perform your duty well.
- I understand.
Male nodded and walked around their sentinel. On few occasions she was all that stood between beast clans and their eggs, while they were away on pastures. But not only that. He needed her obedience, cause he wasn't satisfied with digging through piles of trash like Loreheart. His father failure won't be his. And with guardian on his side, both leadership and Dari were within his reach. Thankfully elders haven't managed to spoil the treasure that fell into their paws and Sing managed to salvage the mighty beast from their decadence before it was too late.
He nodded and abandoned her to her duties, certain that she'll remain at her full attention for hours to come.

Male sat silently atop of their hill, if it could still be called that. With help of Molnum and other large dragons it grew significantly, reinforced by rubble from ruins and large rocks from Dragonhome, brought here thanks to right of passage granted temporarily by their allies in Tangled Wood. Few hidden terraces served well to their scholars - Sing among them - and handful of Lightweaver idols informed travelers that they aren't passing by just a random landmark.
Tundra sighed.
All of this, this whole potential, in the paws of mumbling morons. He really wanted to believe Mother and Gaou had something more to them, but all he saw was dumb luck. And yet from herd of tundras cuddled together for warmth, they somehow managed to achieve... this. From here he had good view on different groups of dragons below. His calculating mind sorted them as useful idiots and just idiots, but he dismissed the thought. He was slowly accepting the fact that his plans failed miserably and there won't be second chance. Sing just needed to make best out of it.

- And it's all your fault he mumbled, looking at Guardian male, locked in sparring combat against Octavia.
He just appeared one day and filled her mind, which Sing tediously molded into perfect tool for his plans, with his stupid ideals and reasoning. She wasn't even angry, mad or vengeful. Female just approached him and looked deeply into tundra's eyes, telling him he's no longer her master. And that was it. Sing's dreams irreversibly shattered. He cursed and then jumped on his paws, startled by someone's appearance

- Didn't want to scare you, sorry!
- Scare me? Pshush... well, maybe a bit. Good morning, Dari.
- Hey, Sing! I thought I'd find you here! I really need a certain plant for my research. You think you could ask your dad about it?
- Well, I guess. He shouldn't be busy he nodded hesitantly.
- And, of course, help me pick it up once we learn where to look.
This time male nodded eagerly. Small victories are victories too.
