From the moment Eosphoros peeked his head out of his shell, he was curious about the world around him. With a mind as quick as a maned cobra and an intelligence rivaling that of even the great deities themselves, this snapper absorbed information around him like a sponge. Before long he was devouring dozens of books a week, anything from the history of the beast clans to the proper method of baking a soufflé. It didn’t take much time for him to blow through the entirety of his clan’s library, forcing him to journey to new locations in the hunt for knowledge. After years of cultivating information from the far corners of the map and teaching himself at least half a dozen different languages, Eosphoros set his sights on educating others. For during his adventures of self-enlightenment, this scholar learned that knowledge is power, and that even the smallest of ideas can change the world. When not teaching, Eosphoros can oftentimes be found in his personal library, a musty room stacked to the ceiling with books and manuscripts. It is here that this snapper whiles his free time away, darting in between precarious mountains of pages, be it scribbling down the clan’s history or reading fervently from a dusty tome by the waning light of a candle. In his constant quest for understanding the unknown, Eosphoros oftentimes neglects the minor details in life. Seemingly unworried about the wrinkled clothes he’d slept in or the ink dying his claws black, only the incessant scolding of his mate Zannduin seems to get through to this preoccupied snapper. Even then it is done grudgingly with muttered complaints in foreign tongues and a lack of enthusiasm. Who has the time for basic bodily necessities like eating a proper meal or getting more than an hours sleep when there is so much that he does not yet know? |
