He has become a botanist, and Eiar's assistant. With a more level head, less fervently passionate about the projects at hand than he is about the knowledge to be gained, he is often responsible for insisting that the results be coherent and replicable, and has implemented documentation methods which have greatly improved the clan's scientific exploits -- if they can be called that, as mired in inexplicable, bizarre magic as they are.
