Kiiden

Uncharacteristically quiet for a spiral, Kiiden is the clan chronicler. Acting as a mostly wordless reporter, he zips around the clan, taking note of his clanmate's antics, taking inventory of food and treasure, and writing the births, courtships, and deaths of his beloved companions into the clan's history. Rather than a babbling quirk, Kiiden has to always be doing something with his hands. When there is a long break between events of interest, he illustrates the margins of his journals. If even that loses appeal before some great activity occurs, he can grow anxious and fidgety. In these anxious fits, when he is calm enough to make the conscious decision, he paints and carves on the soft wooden walls of his den-a hole carved into a massive tree, illuminated by the fungus that grows there.
