HISTORY
Phil perched lazily on the cage holding a very exhausted looking centaur. The Beast had been too weak to retreat with its companions after the battle. Phil had wanted to kill her and be done with it, but his mother was never one to destroy a life unless there was no other choice. She had plans of taming it and having it become a companion, if the Beast was agreeable.

“I still say we should kill it.” Phil mused, loud enough for his companions to hear. His father, Acme, simply huffed and continued dragging the caravan containing their spoils of battle. Zenith, to his side, looked at the weakened creature and then to Phil.

“You always say that.” She purred soothingly, though Phil wasn’t sure which of them she was trying to calm. “I prefer to give things a chance to grow.”

“Sure, just for it to turn on us when it is stronger. We did just raid it’s village and slaughter its people.” Phil grumped staring down at the being now trying to pretend to be asleep. “Listen here, regardless of what my mother says, if you put a hoof out of line-“

“Phil,” Zenith admonished. “ At least lets give them a chance to give you a good fight before you start the threats." Phil grumped more. He always did. They brought home a lot of "companions". Most of them did actually turn out fine. But for the ones who didn’t, there was Phil. He silently made that promise to the newest “experiment”.

TRAVEL
Phil has always had a fascination with blood. It amazes him how such an innocuous looking substance is responsible for keeping a body alive. With the help of a beating heart of course. Lava is like the life blood of the planet. For Phil, watching it flow is soothing. And a little heat is okay when working out.

FACTION
Phil is tiny, but that has never stopped him from getting into fights. Or starting them. It is odd for his kind to have a blood lust, but the thrill of battle helps Phil feel alive. It also gives him a sense of purpose to use his unusual vigor to protect those he cares for.
