Biography
Mist
The clan always gathered together after a successful mission to see the spoils of battle. The warriors unloaded their winnings, emptying sacks and panniers filled with food, precious stones, and dented bits of armor. A rusty longsword clattered to the ground as one of the bags was shaken vigorously, followed abruptly by a glowing object. The Light egg rolled slowly around, finally coming to balance precariously on its point. It gave a rattling shiver and a massive crack split the side, sending shards of shell crunching to the ground.
Slowly, a tiny blue Tundra uncurled from the remains of the shell, it's luminescence fading into the two points of his eyes. Whispers broke out among the clan - where had the egg come from? Was it an orphan? Should we look for his parents? Did the beasts steal the egg?
Lost in their murmurings, no one noticed as the hatchling slowly stood, shaking fluid and bits of eggshell out of his steaming fur. One dragon looked up and saw the child waddling on unsteady legs towards the pile of battle winnings. What is he doing? they murmured, nudging a neighbor. Eyes flickered back to the baby Tundra as he pawed softly at the battered longsword and stuffed a curious nose inside a dented helm. It teetered unsteadily on his head and he sat up, his golden eyes shining and his paws wrapped around the hilt of the sword as he gave a delighted cry.
There was no doubt what Mist would one day become.
