Hello! I heard you 're a fortune teller. Do you really predict the future, or it's just the funky fortune-telling magic? Also, your eyes are covered, is there any reason for that?

They look up from the book they were reading. "Oh, no, it's not... that kind of fortune telling. I suppose 'fortune telling' isn't really the correct word for it." They put a bookmark into the book and close it, thumbing the pages as they look at you.

"I can see into the memories stored into a pearl. You know, whenever a pearlcatcher such as myself coats our pearls with mucus, we subconsciously imbue certain memories into our pearl. I can draw on the energies in the pearl to recall those memories myself.

"And, well, as for my eyes," they lift up the fabric of their hood with their thumb, revealing bright blue eyes, "I can see just fine. The hood just hangs low. It helps with the 'mysterious seer' vibe; I am a performer, after all."
