Nobunaga is the current leader of the tribe, taking Ventitus' place after he stepped down.
Background
Nobunaga started his life in poor conditions. He was kidnapped from his nest as an egg, being brought to the Shifting Expanse to be a slave to the tyrannical leader of the clan. Life was terrible for him. No matter how much he worked to prove himself, the elites of the clan would never acknowledge him. By the time he was almost fully grown, he was determined to get his freedom, no matter what. This drive led him to do the unthinkable one afternoon. As the clan's leader was passing by him, Nobunaga struck him down, crushing the tyrants neck in his jaws. He very well knew the clan would not allow him to live, so he quickly made his escape, leaving his pursuers in the dust.
With nowhere to go, Nobunaga wandered north to the Sunbeam Ruins. At a caravansary, he met a band of two vagabonds named Serika and Freya after attempting to steal a fish from them. Seeing what poor condition he was in, Serika treated him to a small meal, much to Freya's shock. Overcome with the Guardian's kindness, he felt terrible for what he tried to do. He then proposed to join the two vagabonds, promising to do pull more than his own weight for the good of the group. Freya, unconvinced, set up a test to see if his words were honest. She gave him the task of catching a Slight Eyewing.
