Back home, in the frozen beauty of the Cloudscape Crags, Oettre was a Battle Mage, and one of the most fearest of them all – they whispered that the dark red contrast against her white scales was the blood of a hundred slain enemies, which would never be washed off.But now she has crossed the world to land here, in this tropical forest, where everything is entirely too warm for her taste. Why exactly she has decided to stay with the clan is a mystery to all, especially as she takes no care to hide her distaste for both the warm climate and its inhabitants.

Her mate, the only Fae who manages somehow to look threatening in spite of his size, speaks even less than she does. Sometimes they will disappear for weeks on end, searching in the jungle...for what?
