LEGENDARY BEASTS These are wild, massive creatures, nearly as old as the deities themselves, or so they say. They display no alignment, respect, nor intelligence, with any modernized, civilized creatures or dragons. They'll destroy anyone in their path.

A massive, winding beast whose home lies among the shattered Frigid Floes of the Southern Icefield, Mistdancer finds great joy in flying close to the frigid, lapping waves. His wings have been mostly damaged by the cold, and instead he uses his powerful control of wind to propel him through the winding, chilly maze at unbelievable speeds. Most dragons are too fearful to peek over the edges of the tallest glaciers, but he can easily be heard zipping and scuffling throughout the area. Foolish dragons who think to play in the floes alone may fly head-first into the body of the beast, only to find him looping around a glacier to attack them from behind.

While he's certainly not the most actively dangerous of the Legendary beasts, he is known to cause the fastest destruction due to his quick, unprovoked wind attacks. He's been known to destroy passing cargo ships in a matter of seconds, just for the fun of it, and even flips glaciers over when testing his strength. Don't linger on one floe for too long!

With a dragon such as this, potent, terrifyingly large, and unruly, I can imagine a smaller dragon approaching and finding themselves in a mess. Trepidatious, carefully treading the ice floes. Looking for just the sight of some mythical creature. Maybe the Ice Warden himself! Oh, but something feels so off. There's a shifting below. From beneath the ice and water, something wakes. The ice begins to crack and groan. Our little traveler is caught off guard, such a small thing in the wake of such ferocity as it rises from the depths. The sheer magnitude throwing our little explorer aside--miraculously unharmed--sliding across the frost and under a craggy outcrop. Bright eyes watch in wonder and horror as the beast from below slows its rise. Soaked mane and coverings shaken loose of seaspray and kelp, revealing a crown of the very ice he broke through. An unimaginably large Imperial, now biting down upon the morsels it brought with it from the depths.
