Head Chemist

Blending into the darkness he was hatched in, thanks to his dark coat, is Otieno, the Clan's Head Chemist. The purple of his wings and in his mane appears to nearly glow. It could be a trick of the eye, maybe a blessing from Shadowbinder herself, or quite possibly the result of accidental exposure to incorrectly brewed potions. He shares kinship with the clan's Alchemic Scholar, Locket, with the both of them having their share of stories about accidents in their labs. Otieno finds the latest recipes discovered in Baldwin's Brew to be absolutely fascinating; leading to his collaboration with the alchemy users in the clan.

Otieno is the proud father of Jasper, who works on supplying the clan with alchemy supplies. Both he and Jasper's mother, Sunsmoke, are the proud grandparents of Peridot. That also makes them the great-grandparents to Sunspot, Kyanite, and Aurora. The tundra loves to spoil his great-great-grandson, Gilde. Otieno enjoys spending his free time with his family members, as well as the company of Rai, one of the clan's Flight Masters.
