My parents are two master potion makers, and I want to be nothing less than the best in this field as well! I learned much from them before moving on to my home in the Bleakfalls Clan. Upon arrival, I spoke of my passion for potions and it didn't take long before I was connected with the dragons in charge of healing.

I was eager to get started, but I was still very inexperienced... and a touch clumsy in my desire to please my new family. My first potion was a disaster, and regrettably caused some irreversible damage to my body. My belly, once bright green, now glows in the dark, and shimmers in the light. My new friends gave me the nickname "Firefly" due to the glowing green light emitting from my belly.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the worst accident I suffered at my own inept, inexperienced hands. Struggling to get ingredients from the shelving, my small Fae body couldn't quite muster the strength to grip a lid off of a jar. I stubbornly refused help, still trying to get over the shame of being the lab's "Firefly". Once I loosed the lid from the jar, I fell back with a whump, causing a sack of ingredients to dump on me. Everyone stood in silence as they watched me shift from a Fae to a Pearlcatcher.

I doubt I'll ever hear the end of it from my friends, but I still think I'll be the best in my field!
