Magica has always been one of the more quiet dragons in the lair, at least when surrounded by other dragons. She prefers to be alone most of the time, which is when you can hear her enchanting singing voice. Despite several offers to join Treestar and her band, she has declined her every time. Regardless, the two are very close friends, and no offense has been taken.

Magica takes great pride in her role as farmer, a job which she has been proven to be incredibly adept at, particularly when she combines her magic to harvest the crops. She frequently receives advice from Botan and Budsy, her elders in the horticulture business. Magica is always keen to learn new techniques, and always listens to their advice with incredible enthusiasm.

The most peculiar thing about Magica is how long it took her to finally became a fully fledged member of the clan. She was born in the lair, unlike many of the members, though never truly felt as though she belonged. She longed to venture across the world, hoping it would alleviate her feelings of isolation and present her with a new lease on life. However, as travellers passed through and told their tales, this feeling gradually departed.

So what changed Magica's mind? Well, to put it simply, nobody truly knows. Most dragons in the lair believe that Magica was unable to find her calling in life, since Botan and Budsy already tended to the main garden in the lair. But once they invited her to become a farmer, Magica's thoughts towards the clan changed, and she finally felt accepted (even though she was technically already accepted long before). These days, she and Jade, her Sapling Speaker can always be found hanging around the garden.
