Biography

NOTE: Lore needs updating y'all; this is all from back when she lived with Clan Sunsharp rather than at Interlude

"Dearest friend, does your heart hurt?"

Though not technically an official healer of Clan Sunsharp, Maun and her garden have served as a source of therapy for the clan's members. Born among the tricksters of the Shadow flight, Maun quickly discovered during her formative years that she had no desire to take part in the competitive underhandedness of her birth flight. Instead, she cultivated the flora of the area, nurturing gardens of mushrooms and herbs. Some of them had curative properties, some could be used as hallucinogens, and others still acted as deadly toxins. When her clanmates began exploiting her resources to use them in cruel jokes, Maun packed up her herbs and her knowledge and moved to the Sunbeam Ruins.

Clan Sunsharp offered her a place to stay and keep her garden in peace, provided that she allowed Reanna to access her stores if she ever needed some curative herb or another. Due to Maun's excellent olfactory senses, she can often smell underlying sickness that may not even show symptoms yet. Her nose can even pick up the scent of mental illness, something that Reanna can only recognize through behavior. Maun has been known to prescribe antidepressants and anxiety medications to troubled clanmates, as well as offer counsel and a listening ear if one just wants to talk.

Overall, Maun is gentle and soft-spoken. She is happiest in her garden, but she also enjoys the company of the clan's healers, Reanna and Baseer, as well as the good-natured snapper Rhea and the beekeeper, Nightjar.
