A bow, a smile, a deep breath.

The starting notes of a song ring out.
A piercing soprano, full of emotion, paints a story:
A story of loneliness.
Fear.
Bravery.
Foolishness.
Death.

The notes pierce through your soul.
The singer, a monochrome beauty decked in silk and jewels,
clutches her hands together as if in a prayer.
Her wings are as white as snow, soft and downy.
The image of an angel, purity personified,
is stained by the dark that taints her limbs a dark black.

Perhaps she sings of a thief's cry for forgiveness?
Maybe of a hero's last stand?
Or possibly of a widow's prayer for their chosen's soul?
Whatever the case may be, the tune is hauntingly beautiful.

A tear slides down your cheek as the notes peter out,
ending in a soul-wrenching crescendo.
Oh Lightweaver, bless this beautiful soul...
