Also called 'The Eye of the Storm', Derecho is the most fierce and bloodthirsty of the Windstorm Warriors. Generally the most feared among them due to his intimidating presence. Highly skilled and possessing brute strength as one of the larger members, he is not one to be taken lightly.

When the surge of magic swept over the world of Sornieth, changing the eyes of hatchlings, Derecho proved to be highly sensitive to this magic. He underwent his own mutation, leading to him having a third eye. His original two eyes also began to shine and spark brightly with primal lightning energy. This mutation has given him an advantage in battle. Not only striking fear into his enemies, but also giving him a different clarity of vision compared to his peers.

When not on the battlefield, Derecho mostly keeps to himself. Having a reputation as a standoffish and withdrawn dragon when not actively fighting. Thus, most of his clanmates leave him be, and he prefers it that way. Not many know much about him, or where he came from, as he never talks about himself. The mystery surrounding him having intrigued a few of his clan, but any questions are usually rebuffed. Clearly he has some sort of past he doesn't want to talk about.
