"Seems like a dangerous precedent for me to set. These are old scrolls, girl. I can't have hatchlings rustling around with-"

His mate interrupts from the next room. "Ach, love, he's just giving you a hard time. We've got spare copies and he knows it."

Geser chuckles softly, raises his claws in mock surrender. "So we do, so we do. It's yours to keep, girl. Just don't make a habit of this. Alright?"...

____These dragons are among the most ancient, and have dedicated their lives to carrying out the Lightweaver's bidding. Through continued exposure to the radiant sunlight across the Ruins, the Faded have become just that: their colors have dulled, bleached by the sun's rays during their long service. Most of the Faded began as defenders of the Sunbeam Ruins, but more and more are being sent out with peaceful missions as scribes, ambassadors, or messengers as they age. Their glittering spines serve as a reminder of their days as young warriors.

____The most ancient of the Faded have lost so much of their color that one can almost see right through them- a fact that has convinced some that the Faded are actually spirits.

____Geser and Rogmo have been around for a really, really long time, despite not looking it.
[*] Girija & co settled on their territory at some point, but this isn't the first time some young upstart did that, and they think of it as another clan just passing through
[*] Chill folk, nothing really gets them riles up, and if something does they usually forget pretty soon
[*] After all, they have more important things to worry about, like research, and restoring old scrolls, and slaying their enemies.
