Abandoning her old family due to their old-fashioned, claustrophobic conservative ideals, Evangeline very much enjoys the freedom and open-mindedness of the whole Weyr. Blessed with mental fortitude and a great sense of responsibility, Rose and Misteri have assigned her the role of Keeper of the Keys. Salamin's tricks and Flitter's biggest, pleading eyes are ineffectual against her thousand yard stare. After living with her insane family, the harmless antics of the clan's tricksters are but flies buzzing about her ears.

She enjoys spending time with Veera, another lady who left her home for brighter pastures. The duo have great chats over afternoon and cake.
