“The Gatherer of Treasures”

The world is full of small hidden treasures, knowledge and trinkets left untouched by civilization. Hazel, a trader and wanderer of the lands, is determined to find and uncover the secrets of these hidden artifacts.

Hazel travels with Ash, a stranger that quickly became family, looking for anything of value that she can stuff into her satchel and save for later. She does this, of course, without any intention of actually using it for anything but simply for the sake of possessing it.

What doesn’t end up in Hazel’s collection is sold or seems to disappear into thin air, a practice that Hazel is certain Ash caused even though he refuses to tell her. Still, Hazel enjoys travelling with Ash, and the odd characters he tends to deal with and the many items he has deprived her of could never change that.

The two nocturnes live together in an old log cabin just outside of the nowhere town, Serenity. The house, as you may have guessed, is filled to the brim with Hazel's many treasures, mementos, and symbols of her journeys. Hazel often has to remind Ash that she is in fact not a hoarder (she definitely is) and that she is just very passionate.
