Warrior of the sun. Aurelia's childhood friend and personal bodyguard from her days as a protected daughter of a prestigious noble clan in the Sunbeam Ruins. Now that they have taken sanctuary within the Reedsong Clan after they fled the Ruins and went into exile, he continues to guard his beloved lady of light. As thanks to Skitterbreeze and the Reedsong Clan for taking them in, he stands as a lair guard as well and protects the healers and hatchlings. Though stoic, Tristan is much admired by the clan for his valor and bravery. Of all the virtues he has mastered, however, forgiveness is one he struggles with. Forgiveness of Aurelia's noble family for treating her like a child and a pawn, forgiveness to the Sunbeam Ruins for their strict and rigid social structure that allowed for that sort of life in the first places, and forgiveness of Quell's faeries for pulling Aurelia's mane. |
