B I O G R A P H Y

Pepo became an unusual addition to the Haven. The Nocturne should have matured well into adulthood, but remains as small and young-minded as a hatchling. Icnoyotl and Eleuia have done what they could to understand his condition, but have since had to conclude that it was simply how he was born. This is no issue- Hallow had already taken in the young Nocturne as her own. The Wildclaw had taken quite a liking to the hatchling-esque dragon and always found time to care for him in the midst of her busy schedule.

Pepo has an insatiable curiosity and is always wandering off to investigate everything around him. It is not uncommon to find him in the strangest of places, much to his caretakers' alarm. He is easily distractable and has difficulty understanding complex subjects. He still possesses his breed's penchant for mimicry, however, and can be seen pretending to construct his own small machines or tools from Hallow's example.

D I A R M U I D

Diarmuid was captured during a raid by the beast clans of Duskhollow. Those that were not killed in the battle, the Haven took in to restore to health and perhaps let them go, if they were trustworthy, or keep prisoner if they remained hostile. The Haven was loath to execute even such enemies, as many of the clan value life too greatly. Diarmuid was particularly unforgiving, even trying to attack the clan from the inside when he had recovered enough from his injuries. He was planning his next attack when a small Nocturne stumbled into his cell. The creature was roughly the size of a foal, and despite every attempt to hate the thing, Diarmuid simply couldn't. He still thought of the small dragon even after its caretaker came looking for it in a panic and snatched it away. This did not keep Pepo from coming back, and the small dragon did again and again. So it came that when Diarmuid was given the chance to return home in peace, instead he stayed. In honesty, he had no real home to return to, but he felt he could have a place in Duskhollow. And he did: he became Pepo's caretaker when his adoptive mother, Hallow, was away at work.

____Pepo doesn't know much about the Beastclans. He has a good friend though by the name of Diarmuid, and if the Beastclans are like Diarmuid, then Pepo likes them too.

____Diarmuid and Pepo are rarely - if ever - seen one without the other. The centaur regards it as his solemn duty to protect and watch over Pepo; possibly an instinct born from the memory of the family he'd lost.
