Claymore is a gentle soul, a mere mortal unlike his fairy mate, Discordia. He doesn't mind the species difference, though, he loves her completely despite how her fairy nature makes her seem peculiar on occasion to him and his dragon morality. He's willing to bend his personal morals, though, because his mate is so important to him. Claymore doesn't always completely understand the way the world works around him and his mate, but he doesn't mind.

AN UNFORTUNATE FATE
Claymore isn't truly aware of what's happened to him. He thinks that he's in full control of his mind, that the love he feels for Discordia is genuine. And maybe it is, on some level, but most of his devotion to the faerie is fabricated. It's not to say that Discordia doesn't love him, in her own way, just that her methods of securing requited love is... questionable.
