Refined and sophisticated, Giuseppe wandered for many years, a knight errant with the world against him. Having lost his birth clan, he never settled down in one clan for long, fearing tragedy would follow him wherever he went. in his travels, dragging himself through the abiding boneyard, he fell upon the territory of Tiamat, an imperial dragon, who offered him a home with her and the ratty clanmates she called her family.
 Giuseppe lived among Tiamat’s clan for a considerable amount of time, where he learned more about the wastelanders, and in turn taught them different methods of combat, medicine, and, to limited success, civility. Tiamat grew to respect Giuseppe, and though he considered himself a lost cause, Tiamat could sense that fate had something yet in store for him. Giuseppe parted ways with the wastelanders to continue his wandering, but this time, something in him had changed.
