Known for his silent and moody pacing in the corner of the lair, Hades was eventually decided to be the perfect pick for guarding the gates. It allows him to silently and moodily pace where he won't annoy anyone and his 'bright and sunny' demeanor is enough to scare away most strangers who wander too close to the clan. For anyone else, there's always Nemesis.

As one of the few second generation dragons in the clan, Hades feels a pressure to prove himself. Everyone else was chosen - he was merely kept.
