Noctem the Soldier

Familiar's name: Ardeshir (meaning: warrior, lion-king)

Likes: The moon, combat, flying, a chilly morning, water, rain.

Dislikes: The glare of the sun, walking long distances, constant misfortune.

Talents: Noctem is a natural-born fighter, and was in the army of a distant kingdom, but went AWOL from the guard after seeing that the king was crazy and the council was corrupt. She fled across the land to another kingdom where she now resides. She sometimes plays the lute on the street for money if money is hard to come by, and is a good blacksmith and before the army, was a sort of 'experimenter' with potions and sciences, but quit soon after.

Struggles: She cannot fix a lute and has a decent amount of money, enough to keep food in her stomach and a little, solitary lair outside of town clean.

Mannerisms: Noctem is wary of strangers she encounters and keeps her lair well-guarded by her familiar, Ardeshir, who is a manticore. He can talk to her and is her best friend. She is a rowdy, good-hearted friend if you get close to her, and will stay with you to the very end.
