Artemis grew up much faster than her brother did, but she probably had to, seeing as there was no one around to reign Apollo in but her. More mature than her age allowed (though seeing as she's an immortal goddess, maturity doesn't really matter anymore) Artemis took to being in charge of the areas of the kingdom that her whimsical brother couldn't handle by himself. The laws and politics and other important things all fell under her wing, and while Apollo did his job by trying his luck and succeeding the majority of the time, Artemis did hers with carefully constructed plans. Between the both of them, the kingdom would thrive.
