Padraic is Nocturne's favourite son, and as such receives many liberties and freedoms that come with his status. He is spoiled with love from both his parents, and doesn't understand why some of the dragons Nocturne kidnaps don't want to stay and share in that love.

After all, if they're as beautiful as he is, Padraic knows that they will be loved beyond measure. He cannot comprehend the pain some dragons experience in being robbed from both their homeland and their own loved ones, and considers their escape attempts to be foolish.

Because Nocturne plays favourite with his brood, Padraic and his siblings do not get along.
