He was nameless when he disappeared to fight for the Arcanist - and when he returned to the lair, iced over as it was, this had yet to change. However, it was clear to all clan members who used to know him (and by the time he came back with his partner, they were few and far between) that he was not the dragon he used to be. There was something different about his eyes - when before, they used to shine with curiosity and eagerness, they were now almost too calm, too balanced.
When he went back onto the battlefield with his two old comrades, Lucretia and Aakash, they quickly realised that the star-crossed academic had been wiped out and replaced. In his stead, there was a magnificent ferociousness, calm on the surface and terrifying underneath.
Though they never understood why or how, ever since his return, his clan had been one warrior richer.
