Shunki

This noble warrior spent years in training for the worst. Her commander pushed her to her very limits and then she pushed herself farther.

Shunki spent her life watching her mother's open ways refusing to understand the point of her mother's whimsical desires. Shunki herself never once thought a male worth her time and having a clutch of her own sounded, well, boorish. Each male was the same to her, a waisted power. They were strong and the biggest yet every time she's witnessed a battle the clan with the most females wins. Why was that? Because females fight harder for what they want, she went around believing this and she would continue until a male could prove her otherwise.

Having sworn off males she decided to find a clan that suited her. She went from cavern to castle searching for the perfect place, but at each one there were males that didn't leave her be. One clan trained her to be a fierce fighter and once she bested her male teacher she flew on. She wasn't the flirty type, she never would be, it was a sick reminder of her mother. She flew from clan to clan till finally she smelt something sweeter than prickly leaf and had to investigate.

Shunki's hands grasped the trees branches as she looked down to see a gathering of dragons. All their energies were female so she decided to sit and listen. A young Skydancer much like herself, hoped and flew about laughing and enjoying her time. A grand guardian sat near a fire that engulfed most of the clearing. The guardians small hands stirred up a pot of wonderfully smelling liquid. Shunki's stomach threatened to growl. A lazy imperial peered into the glowing warmth of a chunk of pink rock her eyes were locked on something and last there was a pearlcatcher flying back and forth from different plants to the pot the guardian was tending. They were a group of strong looking females and this made Shunki excited.

The younger Skydancer landed and shifted her face towards where Shunki was hiding and squinted then shrugged after a few moments passed. Shunki was sad but also pleased that the young dancer didn't know how to trust and use her gem properly. She decided she would try with civility first. She was the best fighter she knew but never let herself get too egotistical. She hopped down from the tree and proceeded silently into the clearing. The first to notice her was the large Guardian who without so much as a glance slammed her tail a top Shunki and pinned her to the ground.
"Who are you to come into my homeland stranger?" The guardian's voice made the air itself shake and the earth grumble. The giant turned herself towards Shunki keeping her tail easily a top the struggling skydancer.
"I'm," She coughed and gasped for air under the weight of the guardians tail, "I'm Shunki!"
"That means nothing to me. Where do you come from and why were you watching us?" The Guardian's voice was sharp but not cruel and Shunki managed to shimmy her ribs out from under it's tail.
"I come from a clan to the east. I fought my way here and trained hard. I am looking to find a clan where I can become stronger and be of use in training as well as battles," Shunki coughed and looked up at the Guardian's eyes that were steel against her own.
"Very well," The guardian lifted her tail and went back to stirring the sweet liquid, "I am Rhea, I am the eldest, though I prefer to let those of this clan do as they please. You are free to stay here as long as you work with us and bring no trouble with you, little dancer." Shunki nodded and looked at the other skydancer who happily jumped from behind the guardian,
"Hi~ I'm Artimis! Rhea saved me and brought me into her clan when I was just a hatchling~" Shunki smiled and bowed her greeting,
"Artimis, do you know how to use your gem and the powers within?" The younger dancer shook her head and then shrugged,
"I have no use for it here, no one lies and everyone tries their best to be honest. So I never had to use it." That made sense to Shunki but she couldn't believe that every dragon in this clan was as kind and honest as the youngster said.

Shunki would later come to know that the clan she had ran into was the clan she had been looking for. Her gem was useful when dealing with the twins but besides that every dragon was honest and kindhearted with very little angst towards one another. Shunki started up a training program and she welcomed any dragon to come train with her. No males of the clan approached her like in the other clans because most had mates or were too interested in becoming a useful member of the clan. Shunki was pleased with the place she had found and she to this day works hard to help the humble hearted dragons she has began to love.
