Even as a hatchling, Josephine craved movement. She was the first in her clutch to hatch, and the first to walk, as well as the first to speak. She was leaps and bounds ahead of her siblings, something that her parents took great pride in. Josephine was a jewel to them. She excelled in all areas of her schooling, from dance to music, and grew into a fine, ladylike skydancer who could turn the head of any passing male.

Yet she longed for more. There was a world outside of the pampered pillows of her room, and the safety of her clan's protection. There was something beyond the realm with Redwoods as high as Imperial dragons. She craved the ability to see the Shifting Expanse, and toss in the waves of the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

During the night, she stole away without a word. Some say you can still find the little Skydancer occasionally, her jewels glimmering in the sunlight wherever she may wander. There was little else to be said on the matter unless you happened to meet the lady with the silken singing voice.
