She can hear the hatchlings tumbling in the next chamber. She smiles softly to herself as she arranges the piles of furs and opulent hangings in her lair, making sure that every crevice is covered and filled so no harsh winter winds leak in to chill her family. Her eggs and children need not fear the nighttime cold, not when she is there to offer protection and warmth.

She is the first to step forward when orphaned eggs or abandoned familiars are found. She cannot bear the thought of anyone cold and alone. Her lair is always full of light and laughter and welcomes any who wish to join into their midst. She has enough love for all.

BACKSTORY

One of the earliest members of the clan, Yagmur arrived with a flock of other nocturnes who had been part of a roaming collective. She was lured in by the cries of restless hatchlings who were distraught at their less than ideal lodgings - her motherly instincts led her to nest with them and by the time the rest of her flock were ready to travel onwards, she had fallen in love with the horde of needy youth around her. She stayed behind, and has since become the primary broodmother of Fool's Call.

Opher
Companion 		Opher lives above the hatchery, where he observes the young indoors and out, yet another pair of caring eyes for the clan's youngest members. Yagmur appreciates his watchful eye and tries to engage him in care tasks when possible; knowing his selfless attitude, though, she is always mindful not to ask too much of him.

Zhye
Protector 		At some point Zhye met the broodmother and settled into the hatchery, where he resides as a sulky shape in the background - almost invisible, but for large, white, luminescent eyes flickering in and out of sight with each blink. She depends on him to protect the hatchlings from any threats, and occasionally asks him to help her with things that her small body can't quite manage (such as collecting up several rowdy hatchlings at once).

CLAN ROLE
Broodmother

She eats, sleeps, and lives amongst the clan's hatchlings, seeing after their every need and ensuring they are properly educated and prepared for life as adults. When she needs work done that is beyond her capabilities (being rather small, after all), she employs a passing clanmate or the ever-present Zhye to assist her.

RESIDENCE
The Stable

The hatchery resides in what appears to have been a stable of sorts - a large wooden structure with sturdy rafters and a generous amount of open space. Yagmur resides in the primary space of this structure, having made the side rooms and stalls into cozy nooks for sleeping in and storing day-to-day needs. She sleeps in one of these large, fur-lined nests with the hatchlings every night, blissfully cuddled in among her 'children'.
