He’s a devoted kind of dragon, everything he does reflects it. He’s devoted to his mate, to the Earthshaker, to the Windsinger, to his children who he teaches to be devoted too. He’s devoted to his craft and his creations and his clan. So why is it that he is always paid back with disloyalty? His children are all gone, all off to serve the gods, not because he taught them to be devoted but because they’re convinced that it will make them powerful. His mate is gone to the Arcane lands to seek a different mate, after all this time she says she’s sick of him. His mother has long since passed to left for the Icewarden’s domain so he can’t seek her counsel. His father cares not for him at all and his clan has cast him out.

So he is left to hold onto his faith with all he has least everything he know collapse. Yet he knows he’s been cracked. His skills have been getting rusty because he finds it hard to pick up his tools. His prayers have been unanswered because he has not the strength to pray at all. He wonders if this is what the Earthshaker feels like, to just sit and stare at nothing because he feels like he can do nothing else. Even in these lands of Wind he feels no joy or content. What he does make seems to be twice as dull and lifeless than anything he’s ever made. What will drag him out of this rut?
