Unlike his siblings, Remus has always been a quiet dragon, content to observe and learn intead of being the center of a group. Perhaps it was this that prompted his parents to give him a book about magic. Remus was awed. All the possibilities, they seemed endless! He threw himself into his studies, reading book after book.

While he loves magic in general, the magic of his homeland will always be his favorite, specifically magic of the night, when the moon shines brightly upon the children of the Shadowbinder hiding between thorns. The darkness of the night is his companion, the winding thorns his friends. Shadows morph into playful creatures that preen under his attention, his Charges. He is the protector of the darkness of the forests he now resides in.

Remus sleeps during the day and offers his services during the night: charms for safe passage though the forests at night, taming of nocturnal animals, care for dakness-loving plants etc. The shadows obsure his form, allowing him to move unnoticed, only 2 piercing violet eyes hidden in the foliage. He takes time to practice his magic and learn more, mastering one subject before moving onto another. He is the calm sentinel of the forest, guarding his home of trickery and shadows.
