Herene never had much interest in her parents' piracy - she's always had much more of a head for the business side of things.

She's got a fantastic head for numbers, and - perhaps more importantly - knows just how to talk to people to get them to make a deal. Herene doesn't much care what she's dealing in, so long as she can shift her merchandise.

That is to say: she'd be just as happy wringing profit from a stone on the 'right' side of the law as she would be peddling dubiously-acquired beastclan byproducts, or possibly-still-Shadetouched products. Just so long as she has products to sell, and the latitude to do what it takes to sell them, and she's happy.

Of late, she's been spotted wandering around in the Shifting Expanse. The pack of vagrant, flagrant disasters that call themselves the Rabble Rousers seem to have taken an interest in her wares, which is troubling, to say the least...
