Honshu departed his old lair after sickness and death struck. He laid out the dead and dying, many of his own children among them. Each body meticulously separated from the others and scattered with soil. Imperials, of all the dragons, know best the danger of letting death settle too heavily in any one place.
Clanless, he wandered, fighting off flocks of harpies and his own deepening despair, until eventually, he stumbled upon a purple fae, haggling with a group of traders. The fae, Fuxi, took one look at Honshu and promptly invited him to stay the night with his clan. One night turned to two turned to weeks and months, and before he realized it, Honshu had found a new home.
Honshu is cautious, whether by nature or experience. And he is a devout follower of the Lightweaver, born and raised in the Sunbeam Ruins. As such, he does not appreciate being mistaken for a member of the Ice flight - no, he is not going to take off those furs why would you even ask such a ridiculous question.
