Alandrier

Alandrier is the patriarch and founder of this lair. He allowed Shenaria to join when she landed here, and he considers her his equal, and has some affection for her, even though he does not consider her his mate. The rings he wears in his wings with someday pass to his oldest daughter Shanacress. They are not expensive, but they were his first adornment, and she shall receive them when she becomes an adult.

He was surprised when his first brood was born, since they looked nothing like him, Death only sharing his race, and only Shanacress resembled her mother. The two sisters looked more alike than like their parents, and the younger daughter was adopted into the Plaugelands several hours after she was born. Shortly after, the lair adopted a young Guardian male, who is intended to be Shanacress' mate. They may be able to see Death again someday, since she's just in the next flight over. His son-in-law, however resembles Alandrier's color greatly, and the patriarch has accepted him into the family.

A new, young dragoness joined the lair shortly after the second brood of Alandrier and Shenaria's hatched. Her name is Kasarah and she and Alandrier soon became mated for life. He does still share a strong friendship with the matriarch of the clan, though they are not mated, and Kasarah accepts this.

He is a rather strong and quiet type, preferring to think before he speaks, always. He tries to at least be on familiar terms with all the dragons in his clan, though as its numbers grow and Alandrier ages, that is harder to do. Some find him distant or intimidating, but he is a kind, if stoic, soul.
