Styx was born to two parents and an older brother, and in a few years was followed by a little sister. They lived in a nice little den in a nice little plague clan in the abiding boneyard. But none of that mattered to Styx. Battered, insulted, neglected, Styx's first "home" barely even fit the definition. He ran away when he was just a young adult, and spent the rest of his time until he was full grown wandering between bunches of other not-quite-clan groups of young dragons, spending some time in Shadow and Nature before returning to Plague a full grown adult and much stronger for it. He settled here, far away from where he had been born and ready to give Plague a second chance.

Styx is an albino dragon, but he puts just about everything he can into convincing you otherwise. Dyes, clothes, more dyes. To Styx's credit, this is not all out of fear of social rejection; he does really like the way he looks after dyeing his scales, and it has helped him become more confident. In particular he loves his whiskers and pearl. Those long whiskers of his are always on the move, flicking, swishing, fluttering. His pearl is not allowed to be touched by anyone but him, ever. Styx loves music, loves listening to it, loves playing it. He writes his own music as well, although rarely does anyone but him get to see or hear it. Styx's mate, Kagekao of Ekirei no Bushi, is a clear exception. The two are deeply in love, and Styx regularly spends time in Kage's clan so they can be together.

What does Styx hunt, though? He doesn't often bring back meat, yet he's listed as a hunter. He's often seen working closely with Kurohana and Requiem, so perhaps he's some kind of specialized hunter. But I wouldn't ask him about it if I were you- Styx's tongue is sharp and scathing and he's chewed out dragons for less. I wouldn't touch his scarf either- although Styx is usually not fond of such bright colors, it was a gift from his boyfriend, and he's extremely protective.
