Biography
"This ship serves our god now, and our purpose!"
The imposter seemingly crawled up from the ocean depths not moments before, challenging Captain Duncan before he had a chance to do anything but react accordingly in an attempt to preserve himself. Duncan had been known for his intellect, and while he could usually hold his own if he needed to, the skilled swordsman had easily overtaken him. Figures had emerged from all around the ship with raised cutlass, ready to fight anyone who dared to fight back.
"We're sending this poor confused chap back to the depths!"
There were some screams of terror as the events unfolded, but they were quickly stifled by blade. Daisy, terrorized by what she was witnessing, attempted to fly away to seek help- sure, there was probably no one around for miles, but surely a courier or two made its route along these waters. As she leapt up for flight, she felt something tear through the membrane of her wing, effectively rendering it useless before she could even take off.
"No, no miss, it would be a shame to lose someone as pretty as you." Daisy, terrified and gravely hurt, turned to meet the mysterious nocturne's gaze. "You won't be leaving, and you won't get another warning."
The imposter picked up Duncan's unresponsive body with little effort as his disgusting ragtag crew crawled onto the deck, the masts, cheering with raised cutlass and scimitar. He whispered something inaudible to Duncan before casting him overboard. It was unclear if he had been dead or alive. Dragons cried out, but none brave enough to react past that, lest they meet the same fate.
They'd not done anything wrong. Why was this happening?
