In a word, intrepid yet naive. Altair is a newcomer to the clan and sometimes comes off as simple. He is a peacemaker by nature, and though he shows promise skill-wise as a sentinel for the clan, he lacks the conviction and obedience needed if he were ever to fight other dragons, and would rather dry flowers or hoard colorful rocks than take up arms or train. While some of the members of the clan more set in their ways look down upon the young coatl and his perceived lack of allegiance to Aldyrfen, particularly those who came from more structured lairs, most others value his unique, gentle approach to life, and his ability to delight in even the smallest details of life.
