First Colony Side Banner As a hatchling he was once turned into a frog by his Charge, Dreamcatcher. No one knows how he recovered from that. He can still be seen hopping around sometimes on rainy days. He doesn't talk much due to the occasional "ribbit" coming out. He relies heavily on sign language though many dragons don't care to learn the complicated form. It saddens him, but he is still too embarrassed by his speech to engage with strangers.

He does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to construction work. Darkrai doesn't mind being bossed around as long as the one doing the bossing is someone he respects. While it took awhile for him to trust Darkmatter, they became fast friends. She and her mate both learned sign language so that they could talk to him easier.
