Koa came to this Lair in hopes of learning how to fight and finding a mate. He is still very young and inexperienced but he seems to be fitting in well so far. He seems to be getting along fairly well with the young imperial, Hex. Everyone seems worried that Hex will be a bad influence on him and just get the young tundra into trouble.

On his first day of training he was guided by the guardian female Serania. He was immediately taken by her. She was beautiful and dark in his eyes. He wanted to claim her as his mate despite their age difference and the fact that she was one of the elite. He didn't care about these boundaries. He is determined, working harder than most of the other younger dragons to impress her and bringing her little gifts whenever he can. He is determined to see her smile although she is too lost in her own misery to notice him.

He is thrilled that his friend Sakon has shown up at the lair to train with Ellisius now. He goes everywhere with the young imperial. He is incredibly sad about his inability to fly. He is going behind his friend's back now to make a brace that will strengthen and enhance his wings so he might be able to fly with him someday.
