In short time, Lance fell flat on sier face in love with a coatl. Sie wasn’t expecting this coatl to be a scientist, but sie adjusted to the new change in discussion. Soon enough, they were discussing experiments all night, and that’s when they both realized this could be something more. Lance has enjoyed the time working alongside Sabeen, and they’ve completed a project together: the portal generator. With sier magic and a shard of the Spire, anyone can use the generator to travel to far off places in the world.

As one half of the official Spire couple, Lance has put it upon sierself to act as an example to wanderers looking to serve the Arcanist. Despite generally being a Wildclaw known for aggression, sie channels this into more blatant curiosity. This obviously helps siem keep up with the resident scientists. On the other hand, it gets siem into interesting situations with other dragons that the diplomats sometimes have to clean up. That is, if there were any more diplomats left to clean up!

Being the mediator between multilingual dragons can be hard work, but Lance takes it in stride. Despite appearing frosty, sie is generally helpful and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needs it. There are stories where sie’s from where doing the good has saved the world-maybe sie can do something like that too, one day.

...The new dragons? Oh, they're really interesting! Prisca's a seer and she's really sweet. She doesn't want us all to worry about her visions. I think she and Ori are gonna have a nest together too! Isn't that great? And there's Leehalt. He's not the most open-minded dragon around, but he loves learning. He brings back these really old stones and I think he's working on a way to enchant them. I don't think he just collects stones.

There's Sigalit too and xe's super cute and so small and fluffy and just so nice and I'm really happy to see our leader finally meet someone who's so nice. I hope they have a nice future together and lots of nests and stories and good things! Who doesn't want that for their family and kids?

Born and raised on stories of another world, sie has a strong moral compass and sier own ideas of what the good ought to mean. Sie's adept with both physical combat and obscure magic, combining both on the battlefield when the need arises. At their first meeting, sie fell head over heels for Sabeen-and is rarely never seen away from her side.
