- family fled and got taken in by a clan that was located in the shifting expanse/sunbeam ruins border??? mirabelle, sergio, lucille, and kaleb were all there
- mom got imprisoned and dad died by mirabelle's hands. she took luna in and their life jjjjust went Downhill From There™
- they fled that clan when they were older. met nike and crys
- lived under her uncle ruben's care until she began her studies

- not charismatic at all, is very hard to approach
- grumpy loser that becomes a mess once given affection from specific people (namely nike and crystal)
- very vulgar, but they do try not to let their filthy language slip if they're around younger dragons
- stubborn, hates apologizing to others
- doesn't trust easily. consider yourself lucky if they like you. super loyal to close friends, and is willing to protect them as long as they don’t break her trust

- struggles with thoughts of inadequacy. if she can't excel at a new thing the first time, it's unlikely she'll try again
