Abridged lore:Accident is from the direct post-apocalyptic future of the village. Her mission is to find out why the future happens and, if possible, to change it. No one really cared about one missing village except her, before it became apparent that the landscape abnormalties originating from the place were slowly spreading. Stuck between a physicist's worst nightmare and the lawless rampage of the shade cultists, there really were no other paths than that one leading to the past.

A melodic voice echoes around you underneath the heavy sound of freezing downpour, ruining your mood and day, soaking you to the bone with a chilly touch of disturbing unease. Just a second ago you could recall clear skies and a scorching desert sun overhead, but now, what is this foggy world of grayscale and nothingness? "Ah, I was mistaken yet again... The first iteration? No. The one before the first? That must be it.. 'welcome' then. A promising start." You snap your attention to a cloaked wildclaw, having finally become aware of their presence and direction. The wildclaw's stance seems lax, almost indifferent to the attention your scrutinizing gaze is bestowing upon them. The silence between you two lengthens... As you start to voice out your first inquiry, the wildclaw cuts you off. "I don't know the answers as long as I am here. Memory does not exist here, we do not exist here. You are stuck though. Leave the town to escape, your choices matter little." Wow, rude! You don't know whether to be offended or not. That edgy wildclaw can shove their contradictory opinion up their- wait! In the distance, behind the impenetrable walls of unending rain, you can distinguish something more now. You see.. movement? Ropy entities akin to giant snakes... Giant see-through snakes in fact.. Writhing in cacophony, their very varied patterns both geometric and organic becoming more discernible the longer you remain transfixed on the view, slowly expanding in all directions, disregarding their own inherent bounds... Uh. No... What is this snake-nest body horror you've gotten yourself into? No. Just no. You refuse to remain in this crazy dream any longer.
