A mage who survived the sealing of The B E A S T. He stuck around the land of Lightning to maker sure the Stormcatcher didn't attempt to awaken the power himself. Now that its awake, he is just waiting for the end of the world. He enjoys everyday manning his little shop taking in rumors and tales from the desert. A dragon called Mare has been stopping in studying how to kill The B E A S T. He thinks its fruitless but he figures he should help her feel useful. At least as a favor to a dead friend.

QPXJTvq.png Kal is most often found in the upper floors of the teahouse. The door to the upstairs is sealed with runes that only open for those invited. The upper rooms are large and expansive, hoarding all of his tomes, magical tools, and equipment. A large table sits in the middle of the main room where the 12 mages and the beastfolk who fought the B E A S T once sat together.
